Today we are back on the Chandler Bike path at the corner of Hollywood Way. This joyful bronze sculpture is called "Family Outing." It was created by artist, Gary Lee Price, whose work is intended to lift the human spirit.
All the characters have unique expressions and their attitudes may resemble the folks one might encounter enjoying the bike path. I hope you can see the mustache on Dad's face. I love it! The bikes are pretty neat too. If you look closely, you'll notice they have no spokes. For some reason, I think that is so cool. Even though I looked at this sculpture up close, I mistakenly imagined the little boy was on a tricycle instead of a bike with training wheels. Perhaps because I feel I look like he does when I ride my tricycle! |  |
